Shahana Khan qualified as an accountant at the age of 23 as part of the Ministry of Defence’s fast track scheme. After leaving the Ministry of Defence she became Chief Financial Officer of an international software company.
Shahana joined the NHS in 1991 and worked for several acute Trusts in various senior positions before being appointed as Finance Director at Walsall Hospitals NHS Trust in July 2007. She is also a Board member of a Housing Association and a school governor.Shahana’s interests include traveling and Tae Kwon-Do. She loves a challenge and this is reflected in her philosophy on life of “YES, CAN DO”.
